On April 23rd we dad a drawing and painting demonstration by a new member of the society - Dr Radu Leon using the Zoom app. It was enjoyed by those members able to take part.

Radu said ‘This was an online drawing & painting demonstration for the benefit of The Radlett Horticultural Society. 

With Spring in full bloom, participants were encouraged to see flowers afresh and some even took out their pencils or colour sets and enjoyed a few moments of creativity  With a lot of help from the Old Masters and a little guidance from Dr Radu Leon.’

Radu Leon is a painter and educator specialising in early modern and modern Western European 
drawing and painting techniques. He  completed a PhD in History of Art in Venice in 2018. In the last  few years, 
Radu has been teaching Open Programme courses at The Prince’s Foundation, and was invited to lead practical coursesfor The Royal Collection Trust and The Royal Academy of Arts.
