1. Leonardslee Lakes and Gardens
Lower Beeding, West Sussex Thursday, 23rd April 2020 After a nearly 10 year closure and a two year restoration programme this is the ‘Finest Grade I woodland garden in England’ . First planted in 1801, it was re-opened in 2018. With outstanding displays of rhododendrons, magnolias, camellias. Greys Court (NT) Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire Wednesday, 3rd June 2020 Greys Court is a Tudor Country House with a patchwork of styles, furnished as a comfortable family home. Delightful gardens in an idyllic setting from a wisteria walk, rose and kitchen garden to glorious wooded parkland. Visit the tea rooms, plant stall and gift shop. 3. RHS Hyde Hall
Chelmsford, Essex Thursday, 20th August 2020 Hyde Hall has a beautiful hilltop garden with herbaceous borders, a rose, vegetable and Mediterranean dry garden. Make time to visit the excellent plant centre, gift shop and cafe or restaurant. www.rhs.org.uk/gardens/hyde-hall On to Grange Barn and Paycocke’s House & Garden (NT) Coggeshall, Colchester, Essex Grange Barn, Coggeshall is one of Europe’s oldest timber framed buildings. Paycocke’s is a surviving Tudor House, built for a wealthy cloth merchant in the 15th Century with a charming and tranquil cottage garden. There is a gift shop, plant sales and a small tea room.
